Cheap fabric

This dress looks attractive in the photos. And the reviews were pretty good. But I found this dress to be hideous! The fabric is so cheap (think old fashioned polyester window sheers material), and to make matters worse, there is shiny gold thread woven throughout the dress. Why would they do that?! It only makes it look cheaper. Also, the fabric is scratchy and I just don't have one complimentary thing to say about this dress. Waste of resources to have ordered this to now only have to send it back. I expected more from Bloomingdale's. Where is their quality control???
