Great price on a piece I had long admired

I have quite a few selections from the artesano line including several of the acacia wood pieces. The workmanship of this piece is below the others, which is why the 4-star rating. The slate platforms are really nice, although some of the serving dish options shown don't really sit that well on them due to the size of the dish vs. the platform. I've made my own rubber drawer liner mats for some of my favorite serving dishes and wood boards in order to anchor them to the slate/wood frame around the slate. If you are using it for display and not for serving food, the mats wouldn't be needed. The slate pieces themselves are pretty short, so depending on what type and quantity of food you're serving, you do need to add dishes/boards on top of the slate and they need to be quite narrow to fit. I'm so happy that I finally have this particular stand as I've admired it for a long time and had never seen it for as good a price as on Macy's.

Beautiful, space saving

Looks beautiful on my country home counter! Replaces flat platters that held fruit and takes less space, Lost one star as the upper 2 plates don't sit on the slate below and balance on the wood instead.
