Love it!
This shallow bowl is perfect! Great for potato, pasta, and green salads. When I am not cooking, I load it with bananas, apples and oranges. Loved it so much that I purchased the holiday version. Vietra melamine is the best!

Lastra white shallow bowl
I do love the melamine lastra and have complete set of dishes and many other pieces. The shallow bowl, while beautiful, is not shallow in my estimation. Too large to be practical for many things. I use it too hold bunches of bananas on my counter. So I was a bit disappointed. Felt the term shallow was misleading.
