Elegant shimmer. Chiffon

I love a sparkle but not the really sparkly shadows I indulged in when I was in my 20’s. I love the colour, texture and packaging of this little powerhouse of an eyeshadow. It is buildable so it’s subtle initially which I appreciate if going for a more understated look. I’m tempted to try other shades as chiffon is very neutral.

Velvet

It doesn't look quite as amazingly glittery and sparkly as the photos make it appear, but it is a lovely greeny/gold shade, which I tend to 'save for best' given the pricetag! Applies easily and not much shedding or need to tidy up, just a few swipes on with a brush. The little pot, is indeed litttle, but pretty lux, and there's a little insert, which I hope will preserve its life!

Ugh, so good

I deliberated on buying this product for a long time due to the price. Would I get the wear out of it? So, I bought Mink, which is a sensible colour. I love wearing it. I sheer it out for a day look, pack it on for something more glam. I look forward to building eye looks around it, I get compliments on it when I wear it, it doesn't move a lovely and it wears well. It's a sophisticated colour as well. It's one of those products that makes me smile when I see it.

Easy to use

It's a great product, very easy to use as a one-and-done eyeshadow or combined with other eye shadows. My only complaint is that the formula is not completely the same with all the colours - some of them I like more, some less.. But the truth is that I want them all! 😀

Not my favourite

I bought this product in chiffon and though it is a very pretty shade, overall I find the formula and effect a bit underwhelming. If I want a sparkly eye in a neutral-ish shade, I would much prefer to use the Hourglass Scattered Light shadows personally. The lid lustre is a perfectly adequate and usable product, just not my fave.

Velvet

I adore Victoria Beckham beauty and the lid lustres are no different. I got the shade velvet which is a beautiful dark olive, it blends seamlessly and perfect for a one and done. Honestly the price is shocking for these and my only worry is that it will dry or expire before I can use it up.

Shimmery

So super shimmery and feminine whilst being a powerful little lid! A little goes a long way and the formulas remind me so much of the Huda Beauty eyeshadows- compact, shimmery and buildable. Lovely neutral shades too and can apply easily with a brush too. Good staying power.
