Good for work!

I would've bought.

I love these shoes premium version is fire but it needs the black stripe around the sole. Also the premium sole doesn't need to be so shiny.

Falling apart after less than 6 months

Not worth the extra cost

I daily drive my Vans. I usually have one pair and they're almost exclusively the only shoe I wear. These were unimpressive, but I'll start with the positives: They look nicer than the non-premium version. The suede is beautiful and continues to look nice. They're significantly more comfortable than regular Vans. They're unbelievably comfy for standing and walking, I forget that I'm wearing Vans and not old people sneakers. But the cons: The quality is terrible. I've had them for less than six months and the sole is like, shredding. I'm not doing anything crazy, I'm wearing them to work in an office and to walk my dog on a flat sidewalk. Maybe to the grocery store. But the sole and the white part around the bottom of the shoe are absolutely falling apart. I just noticed a tear on the heel, too, even though they're a little too big so they're not experiencing any stress in that area. I usually have to replace my daily drivers around once per year, and I'm disappointed that I already have to replace this pair. I'm already pushing my luck by wearing Vans in my business casual office, they can't be visibly falling apart. Overall, would not recommend. Not worth the markup for "premium," they're actually lower quality than non-premium Vans.

I will purchase this shoe again and again

Premium version is worth the price. It's more comfortable and looks better than the original version. I used to purchase the vault version before they got rid of it and these might be even more comfortable than the vaults! Quality is A+ #sweepstakes

Tight toe box

You can definitely feel a difference between the regular and the premium in the cushion of the sole. The biggest flaw of this shoe is the elastic tongue creates a super tight toe box that makes these unbearable to wear even as I put them on. If these were made in a wide version I'd recommend them 100% but as of right now I do not recommend these. Also these shoes make your socks slide which is annoying.
