Amazing satin feel on my lips. A little goes a long way. It will transfer and the packaging includes a gold mirror finish so it helps you apply the lipstick in a pinch. Would repurchase in another color.

If you’re a dark-skinned girl looking into Valentino Beauty’s 142A Flirty Nude, here’s my take: First off, the formula is amazing. It feels super moisturizing, gives full coverage in just a few swipes, and your lips don’t look patchy or spotty even when it starts to fade. The downside is it transfers a lot, so don’t expect it to be long-wear without touch-ups. Now, let’s talk color. On me, it pulls very orange. There’s a strong orange undertone that really shows up, especially if you already have red or orange undertones in your skin. On the brand’s dark-skinned model, the shade looked like it had a nice brown base—but in reality, it doesn’t. Final verdict: I’d definitely repurchase the formula (it’s that good), but this shade isn’t it for me.
