Perfect size for carrying ALL your makeup
Even though this was on sale, it is an investment. I know the bag will last a long time because of my experience with a Tory Burch two-sided zipped toiletry bag that I have had for 4-5 years. I travel about 180 days per year for work, and about 20 days for personal trips. This Tory Burch cosmetic case is replacing a soft-sided freebie pouch that carried some of my makeup; the fabric got stained and the pouch was limited in capacity that it did not carry much makeup, so I had to carry a second pouch for the rest of my makeup. However, this case is large enough to keep ALL my makeup organized in one bag. To give you an idea of what all fits, I have in this case: La Prairie cushion foundation, Giorgio Armani Power Balm compact foundation, Giorgio Armani blush, Giorgio Armani highlighter, Sisley-Paris bronzer, Giorgio Armani eyebrow gel, two Giorgio Armani eye stains, Sisley-Paris So Intense mascara, Kevin Aucoin volume mascara, Sisley-Paris eye liner, Sisley-Paris eye crayon, eyelash curler, tweezer, Cle de Peau Lip treatment, extra La Prairie cushion applicator, travel-case of Q-tip swabs, and magnifying mirror. It has sides that stay up - like a box, but it is not too heavy. It has handy pockets along the sides where I store individually packaged alcohol pads for cleaning up buildup around mascara and eye stain tubes, etc. It has a zipped area on the lid - where I have the extra LP cushion applicator, and a couple of shower caps that hotels give. It has enough room for a few brushes, but I like to keep my makeup brushes in a separate case just for brushes. I like the cheerful orange interior, and the striped exterior is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth. The zipper works well without sticking or catching the lining. It fits nicely in my Rimowa Salsa that I check with the airlines. I expect to travel with this case for many years. I highly recommend this cosmetic case.
