Tory Burch Divine Moon Eau de Parfum

To call this a floral fragrance is misleading. This leans very sweet and only faintly floral with a vague wood undertone. I can't make up my mind if it's a gourmand fragrance or not ? It simply doesn't work for me nor is it long lasting which for the cost it should be.

Obsessed with this scent!

I received a trio of the travel size perfumes as a gift and this scent was first one to be empty. I had to order the full size bottle because it quickly became my favorite scent. It’s fresh, light, and slightly floral but not too strong. I absolutely love it!

Does not quite work for me

I received a 7.5ml size of this in a (purchased) fragrance edit. It got off to a flying start when the (sealed) box stated "eau de parfum spray", but the mini bottle inside is clearly a dab-on without a spray. Note to all manufacturers - do not lie on the box, it will be noticed and it's not a good way to introduce your product. What of the contents? Well this opens with a somewhat (but not overly) sweet fruity note - we both got the rhubarb but any bergamot is drowned out. This quite quickly moves into white floral land, not wildly heady though and still with some sweetness. It's definitely female and has a somewhat overblown/fleshy quality which is I found little annoying(I saw this mostly referred to as plasticky in reviews). I don't get any honey, just the generic non-sugary sweetness. It feels a bit like a lower budget version of Malle Carnal Flower that does not quite work (though my partner likes CF on me, and thought this one a fail). After about an hour is softens and by 1 1/2 hrs it is noticeably fainter and a little lactonic. It disappears over the next hour leaving nothing much behind. I did not really like this and my partner hated it, so I'm giving my mini away. If you want a better done verion of the same concept, try Carnal Flower, though it is very spendy.

Smells lovely

I bought this as a present for someone and they love it! It’s a nice sweet and floral scent, and smells like rhubarb and freshness. The bottle is also gorgeous so is very nice all round. I bought the 50ml during Black Friday so if you want a nice everyday scent and it’s on sale this one is a great one to add to your collection!
