Let down

I purchased this foundation with high hopes that it is better than the old traceless matte foundation . I was extremely disappointed for the price it was so thick and cakey looking. I had prepped my skin very well , exfoliated it, used serum and la mer moisturizer . I used a brush and sponge to thin it out but it still settled in my pores and was so awful. I am not paying the price for something that looks so awful . Returned immediately

Wears well, undertones & coverage not for me

I am not typically a matte foundation girl but I heard so many great things about this product from influencers. I purchased this and brought home a sample. After trying the sample for several days, I decided to return this foundation. Honestly it did not budge throughout the day so it is definitely long wearing. However, what bothered me was that I felt it changed the overall look of my skin so much, I just was no comfortable wearing it on the day to day. When Im home, I wear only skin care, and when Im out and about, I prefer a natural look, a my skin but better look, even for evening or an event. Also, I feel like the entire color range has a very yellow undertone. I have a rosy undertone and this foundation just covered up and changed my overall complexion too much for my liking.

Not ideal for dry skin but good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gave this to my mom to better suit her skin tone. Really appreciate the elegant formulation of the foundation! As someone with dry skin, this foundation required her to reallllly moisturize her skin to prevent it from creating dry spots on her face. It’s fairly blendable but again, the soft matte makes it not ideal for everyone. She liked the final look though! And added bronzer after to match with her shade.
