I will definitely be getting a few more pairs

Love the fit and the belt clip is very well built. The hidden zip pockets fit phone, keys and wallet very comfortably when I go mountain biking or hiking.

I would buy this again

These shorts are comfortable, lightweight, and perfect for everyday wear workouts. The fabric feels soft and durable as I expect from The North Face. The only reason that I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 would the the belt buckle. It is cumbersome to latch and unlatch. Still, overall, they are a great value and I would definitely buy another pair.

Perfect active shorts.

Stretchy and not floppy and super loose and comfy. Plus the belt so they don't slide down. And the zippered side pockets. Oh my. Literally the perfect short for me. I bought one pair and wore them all day long, ordered another, then went for a bike ride in them and realized the way my phone and keys sit in them is totally out of the way, and then ordered another pair as a gift. If a perfect pair of active hot weather shorts exists these are it. Amazing. Leaving a review so TNF keeps making them. Ignore the 1* and buy three pairs. I'm serious. You really should.
