Believe the hype

I’m always a bit suspect of Facebook advertising for things like jeans “guaranteed to lift your butt”. But I’ve been unhappy with my workout gear (Peloton and weight days), so I decided to give the Interval Short (Liner, 5”) a go. Well, they’ve exceeded my expectations in every way and then some. The wider, elastic waist band makes these the first shorts that don’t require cinching a string tie to keep them up. The fabric really does stretch and move with your body. They somehow dry quickly, don’t get slippery on my bike seat, don’t smell after workouts and between washes, and the liner is perfect in form and function (that is, things move as you would want them to, but no more;-). These shorts are better than the Peloton, Nike, and Under Armor shorts I’ve owned. At 5”, my legs look buff, but the shorter style requires a shorter shirt so you don’t look as if you’re pants-less. I immediately ordered an Interval shirt (which I believe is stylishly shorter) and I can’t wait for its arrival. Believe the hype - these are the real deal.

Needs right side liner pocket

These would be my favorite shorts, except the liner pocket is only on the left side. Why?! This makes it so I never wear these b/c too cumbersome to get my phone. Otherwise these shorts are *perfect* - great quality and all of the other pockets and their design, are awesome!!

Interval Short sizing and fit changed for the wors

Last pair of interval shorts I bought were in Mar 2023, they’ve been super durable. Just bought a few more pairs in the same size (S) and they fit about 1/2 size smaller, making it pull right around the hips. Going up a size (M) results in too much extra material just under the rear waistband, and the liner is not tight enough to feel supportive. Don’t know what Ten Thousand can do to bring the old fit back because it used to be SO PERFECT. I think I have to go searching for the next great workout short fit.

One of the top shorts out there

Can take a beating. I use for running, HIIT, Hyrox, strength. Liner is solid and stays put. Generally wear a large. Waist is a little loose for me but tying with the drawstring keeps it on fine.

Overpriced junk

Awful quality. Bought this and another style of shorts from Ten Thousand at the same time. Both have completely fallen apart a little over a year after purchasing - conveniently weeks after the warranty expired. The stitching has completely come undone from the pockets, the elastic ‘hem’ has fallen out and now hangs loose from the legs, the ‘taped’ side zip pocket has fallen apart and is now permanently open. I reached out to support given how close I was to the warranty expiring with pictures and they promptly told me there was nothing they could do since they were barely out of the warranty period. Awful quality, no support. Comical that they would market these as being built for strenuous workouts and price them so high.
