What It Does

The selector switch on the KBGV Select allows you to choose between brewing a half or full carafe. The brewing speed and hotplate temperature adjust according to your choice, brewing either amount to the golden cup standard. The brew basket automatically stops the flow of coffee when removing the carafe. All glass carafe brewers feature a hotplate with an independent heating element that holds your coffee at the perfect temperature.

Awesome

We were sick and tired of spending money on coffee makers that only last 1-2 years. Even supposed expensive brand name ones didn't last. After reading the phenomenal reviews we decided to splurge and try the mocchamaster. We love it!! We also bought an oxo burr grinder and got rid of the blade grinder. We can taste the difference. If you're considering purchasing this brand you won't regret it. It will eventually pay for itself when you stop buying the disposable coffee makers.

I Had High Hopes

I had high hopes for the Technivorm Moccamaster KBGV Select since it’s supposed to make super hot coffee, but honestly, my husband said it wasn’t any hotter than his old coffee maker, which was the main reason I bought it. The coffee is good, but the design isn’t really my favorite either. It’s solid, but for us, it didn’t live up to the hype.

Moccamaster coffee maker

Coffee tastes great and machine is very attractive on the counter, and like watching the water bubble up. However, a bit disappointed with the plastic components that feel a bit flimsy and not substantial.
