Not Sure Why The Negative Reviews…

I read many reviews complaining about this product. I love it. I don’t think it smells bad it’s more of a clean smell with no perfumes. I just get my hands wet and rub it together on my dry face and it gets my skin nice and clean.

Okay cleanser

The Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Cleanser is good, but not my favorite. It cleans my skin without irritation and feels gentle enough for daily use, which I appreciate. However, I didn’t see any noticeable changes in texture or clarity. It’s fine, just not very memorable.

Grainy texture, smells awful and burns!

I had a travel size of this Ceramic slip cleanser in a beauty box and while ago bit only got around to use it recently and I think it's terrible! I wonder if this sample size was thrown in the beauty box because it expired and they couldn't sell it! The texture was oddly grainy and it smelled very bad. Since I've never used it before, thought I would give it a go anyway. I didn't think it was that amazing, it was OK as a second cleanse. However, after using it a few days in a row, I started feeling slight burning sensation on my face! Reading at other one star reviews, sounds like I'm not the only one and was perhaps a daily batch! They must have tried to get rid of them in a beauty box, not impressed by the brand decision!

Great cleanser

This cleanser is amazing. It works really well and feels so good on my skin. I don’t suffer with many skin problems - however, certain times of the month I have breakouts and this cleaner has been really calming on these and not appeared to irritate it. I will be repurchasing!

(Old Formula) A Decent Cleanser

Based on the most recent reviews, I believe I am reviewing an old formula version of this product, I cannot speak to any of the recent complaints about a formula change, so please bear this in mind when reading. This cleanser has a yellow-cream like appearance and smells pleasantly clean and earthy, and I didn't find it too stripping on my sensitive combination skin. I had been looking for a cleanser that was hydrating while also balancing excess oil production, and I think that this did that. I didn't feel it was as hydrating as some other brands (i.e. Kate Somerville's Goat Milk cleanser) but it was definitely okay and didn't cause any problems or breakouts. The price made it more appealing compared to some other options, however, once this bottle is finished I do not think I will be repurchasing: I found that it didn't go as far as other cleansers at similar price points, and while it didn't leave my skin completely stripped, it did leave my skin feel a bit dry and tight on some occasions. All in all, it was just okay.

Awful since change

This was my go to cleanser and I recommended it to everyone, the recent change to formula is HIDEOUS. Product now has an horrible scent, burns and leaves skin dry - complete opposite of the old formula! Terrible decision and like I see many other reviewers saying I’ll be looking for a new face wash.
