Rich brightening cream

The Sunday Riley C.E.O. afterglow brightening vitamin c moisturizer is a rich brightening cream that really seems to work! Each time I have chosen to wear this cream, people have made comments about how healthy my skin looks! I highly suspect there is a correlation! The color is VERY bright yellow which was surprising to me, but it blends well into the skin. The smell was initially somewhat odd as it is very herbal in nature, but I have grown to enjoy it, and the smell goes away once on the skin and is really not noticeable (as someone sensitive to scents). I am very impressed with this cream and would recommend it to others!

Great addition to my daily routine.

I was already using a basic brightening moisturizer that was good but didn’t wow me or my skin so I was excited to try this product and brand. The little scoop is adorable and practical with helping lower bacteria in the product, the packaging is modern and attractive. The moisturizer is yellow and smells of like turmeric and I was hesitant about it possibly leaving behind a yellow tint however the product absorbs perfectly and leaves my face smooth and hydrated. As someone with sensitive skin, this product didn’t cause any irritation or outbreaks. I’ve already noticed my skin looking healthier and brighter, so I think I will make the switch to this product and keep it in my skin care routine. The brand itself is also a highly reputable and ingredient conscious so that’s also appreciated.

Left skin dry and peeling

I really wanted to love this but unfortunately had a bad reaction to it. The yellow color was a bit off-putting and the scent was pretty strong but I could get past both those things. However when I used this I felt a stinging sensation, which I thought maybe was normal? (Not sure if it is or isn’t). But after a few uses I found that my skin which is usually really nice was dry and peeling in certain areas and I had to stop using. I do really like the packaging and that it comes with a special spatula to scoop the product out so you don’t have to stick your hands in it. Sadly my skin did not agree with this.

Before on the left. After on the right. I would say my skin looked LESS bright after using this product. I normally use something I make myself with castor oil, essential oils, and other antioxidant rich ingredients. My blend keeps my skin looking great, this … not so much. Applies well. Not sticky. Not overly drying. Just not my favorite.

Not for the matte girlies!

Thank you to Influenster and Sunday Riley for gifting me the CEO Afterglow. Truth be told, I used this product after a couple of years and I had forgotten how luminous this makes your skin look. Powered by vitamin C and other extracts, this is a brightening moisturizer and the glow stays with you hours after application. There is fragrance, but the texture is smooth and absorbs into the skin very quickly. This does not pill under makeup and sunscreen either. So glad to be reunited with an old skincare fave!

Fixed my dry skin

Ive used this product for close to a month. It makes my skin feel so nourished and healthy. Ibstruggled with flaky dry skin and it's fixed that. The packaging is so luxe and fancy. I would purchase with my own money

Nice hydrating facial cream. The only downside is I don't really like how it smells. It smells a little bit weird, but other than that, it is definitely helped my skin even out its tone. Would recommend.
