Family dinners

I added this to my registry to have a baby “parking station” in our dining room. Im so happy I did. Not only does it bring our new baby into family dinners but it allows me to eat comfortably with them. My only complaint is that the harness is a little too big. My poor baby gets swallowed up in it. But overall I thoroughly love this!

Super recommend

The Tripp Trapp Newborn Set has been amazing for us. It’s super comfortable, safe and cozy for our baby, and we love that it keeps her at table height so she can interact with us during meals and throughout the day. It really makes her feel included in family moments.

Fine

Doesn’t click into the lowered position, which makes it feel unstable. I’m not a big person, but one time I leaned slightly on the seat, and it collapsed into the lowered position, which scared both me and baby! Pretty pricey for what it is.

We’re sorry to hear that the Newborn Set felt unstable when adjusting it, and we understand how unsettling that moment must have been for you. We appreciate you letting us know what happened. To clarify how the functionality works: when using the button to release the mechanism and lower the Newborn Set into the angled or tilted position, it does not click or lock into place. In this position, the child’s weight keeps the seat lowered. Because of this, there is no click or locking sound when moving it downward. However, when lifting the Newborn Set from the angled or tilted position back up to the horizontal position, you will hear a click or lock sound. Many customers understandably assume that the same sound should occur when lowering it, which can make the movement feel unexpected. We appreciate you sharing your feedback with us, as it helps us understand where things may feel unclear during use. Thank you again for taking the time to let us know.

Game changer

This insert, alongside the high chair, has been a game changer for our newborn. Since was 6 weeks old, we’ve had a safe, cushy spot to set him down while we cook and eat dinner. The design of the chair means he gets to be part of the family already when at the table. Plus, the insert is comfortable enough that he can dse off in it (while supervised). Honestly, one of our favorite purchases notwithstanding the higher cost when compared to other brands.

Great for baby #2!

I decided to get this for my second child and am so glad I did! Having her elevated offers so much peace of mind with a dog and 2 year old on the loose. I love having a safe place to put her and don’t trust her in the baby bjorn bouncer.
