Great for long flights!
We used this on a 6 hour flight with a our toddler on from LAX to Atlanta and our toddler stayed in her seat and even slept some! This bed was very useful for us.

Easy to use and fun for kids
I purchased this for my nearly 2-year-old as we travel frequently and needed a solution for moving him through the airport without a stroller and setting up a comfortable space for him when he is in his own seat. The suitcase is super stable for navigating the airport, and when he's not riding it, he loves pulling it on his own. It's easy to stow under a seat and has enough space for any of his travel-day needs. We're still working on learning to use a backpack, but it's easy to attach the backpack to the suitcase when he doesn't feel like wearing it.

wheels broke on both
we've bought two over the years both the wheels have broke off from. We do travel a lot, but we arent super hard on things....the last one the wheel broke just going over a bump in the airport and he is only 38 pounds so that sucks.

Cousin Comforts
I purchased these for my two toddler grandsons for a family vacation involving several long flights. I'm so looking forward to seeing the cousins sharing the same experience. Their parents are also grateful for the extra rest and comfort everyone will enjoy!

Doesn’t last
This suitcase is a cool idea, and your kid will turn heads at the airport, but the area of the body of the suitcase cracks easily. If you buy this, expect that the bottom of suitcase will crack within a year of purchasing. My two year old who is less than 25 lbs used this suitcase, and on our last trip, the suitcase cracked on the bottom. Cool idea in theory, but expect that it won’t last more than a year. Unfortunately this has happened to both suitcases we’ve purchased for our children.

It may be helpful to note that the only known cause for the front swivel wheels breaking is when the product is used on uneven terrain, such as pavement outside of airports, while the child is sitting on it. This is not the intended usage. The reinforced BedBox™ V4 is not known to have issues with the plastic cracking during intended use. If the BedBox™ is leaving the airport, the child should not continue to sit on it, as this could risk damaging the product. The Stokke JetKids BedBox made traveling with my child much easier and more enjoyable. It’s well-built, easy to use, and my kid loves riding on it at the airport. It also helps create a more comfortable space on the plane for resting. Just keep in mind your child’s leg length—taller kids may not fit as comfortably when using it as a bed.
