I've been sleeping on Stearn's and Fosters for 25 years and recently moved from Florida to Nevada. New State new Stearn's and Foster. Extra Firm Estate is just that. I'm supported all night long in total comfort. I highly recommend.

Lacks construction integrity, sagging
We are currently in the process of getting the third(3rd)replacement in under one year , all of the beds turned into egg crates, sagging in both positions for her and I. And note; we are average size individuals

The best bed I've ever purchased!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had hip replacement surgery a while back and slept on a new Serta mattress. My hip seemed to hurt daily! Last March I had to get my other hip replaced, I was miserable the pain during waking hours and my sleep pattern (always broken) was unbearable. I had a Sternsandfoster. 30 years ago and loved it!! I decided it's time to try your companies bed again. Guess what?? I am sleeping through the night and no pain upon waking up!! Sooo to all prosthetic hip replacement seniors this IS the real deal!! Comfortably Firm Mattress

I'm a stomach sleeper so was looking for a firmer mattress, but my wife is a back/side sleeper. She likes a firmer mattress too, but wanted something that still provided comfort with the support. This mattress fits the bill without breaking the bank. Would recommend.

Defective edge support
Bought this mattress from Ashley furniture located in the Woodlands, Tx area. The mattress edge broke down within a few months. We turned the mattress and the other side edge support broke down with in a few months. This mattress is used by an elderly person who weighs about 130lbs so weight and size of the person is not in question. The results of this defective edge has caused her to constantly roll off the edge of the bed. We contacted Ashley Furniture for help, they sent a mattress warranty claim representative to check out the issue. He reported the findings to Stearns and Foster. Your company DENIED any help, leaving an elderly woman at risk of really being hurt each time the defect causes her to roll out of bed.

Not too hard, not too soft, Just the right firmness!
