very slimming

Beautiful dress, It is a dark chocolate color not as shown on the picture.It is for a tall person ( I am 5'10").Definitely a keeper.

Color was off but it’s still lovely

Color is dark chocolate, not the lighter color shown in the photos. I checked out the dress manufacturer’s website and they had an accurate color depiction there. Also, the dress is very loose up top and requires tailoring. Despite this, the dress is a well made classic / timeless style with clean lines that I’ll have in my wardrobe for a very long time. I’m in my 50’s now and buy only pieces that will stand the test of time. This dress will be a keeper after some basic tailoring.
