Disgraceful packing resulting in damaged item
NOT A REFLECTION OF THE ITEM ITSELF It was immediately evident from the moment the item arrived on my doorstep that NO care was taken with the packaging of it. It was literally crammed into a box that was too small to accommodate the item, smashing what is supposed to be a shaped item and damaging the handle. The box itself was purposefully taped shut in a bulging manner to try and make the item fit inside it. An absolute disgrace of an experience from what is supposed to be a high-end luxury department store. When I called customer service to have the item replaced, it was no longer in stock. My wife could keep the damaged item at a discounted price or I could return it for a refund. There was no concern for the ridiculous packing. We took the refund and will be purchasing directly from Staud.
