Love the braiser!

I haven't had it long, and I'm already in love with it. It's my first Staub piece of enameled cast iron cookware, and I will definitely be getting more. I researched enameled cast iron before buying, and I have been preheating with a little bit of oil before cooking. I have had no issues and clean up so far has been a breeze. Absolutely worth splurging on.

The lid cracked and glass shattered cut the arm

My husband was cooking with it when the glass lid suddenly blew off, and the broken part cut my husband's arm. It was so scary; my husband said the piece would have flown toward his eye, and he quickly blocked it with his arm.

Staub Quality

You can never go wrong with Staub. This 12” braiser with heavy domed glass top is good to go to 500 deg. Browns so evenly and it’s nice to have a large stovetop to oven to table with look and cook ease to keep an eye on things. This braiser can do it all.
