Waterproof boots with style

Needed waterproof, not water resistant. These are the real deal. Only issue is top of boot rubs. Solution is socks. These platform boots give you height. From photos looks like more pointy, but they are very wide, which makes them good for my feet and walking long distances.

Great…but

Let me be clear. I love Sorels, I think they are great. The issue with this boot for me is that the seam that’s on the inner side of the boot heel is too low. It puts friction right on the bone of my heel. Now is the anatomy or the boot? Hard to say. Overall the boots are stylish. They scuff quickly, but they are water proof. Just have a blister on the inside of my left heel that’s struggling to get better and I’m not sure if the boot with stretch out. I think it’ll callous over though so I won’t notice once it heels.

Not made for wide feet nor for orthotics

I guess there is a reason that Sorel does not have reviews on their own website! I sized up half so I could wear thicker socks during autumn/early winter. The length is fine, but oh my god do NOT buy if you have wide feet. Also do not buy if you have custom orthotics you’re hoping to slip in, or if your feet are wide from sole to ankle. Even if you sized up, the length would just be off and it would be bad for your feet. I’m normally a size 7.5, I ordered an 8, but to get the width horizontally and vertically for my midfoot I would probably have to buy like an 11 and then I would have several extra inches to trip over. I was already skeptical of it being waterproof because it’s a Chelsea boot and there’s that like mesh panel in the middle, but I figured Sorel should be good quality and comfortable. The material looks like it could be of good quality but the fit is so poor. Only buy if you have like very narrow feet.

Perfect Boot

I can walk on these for a long time very comfortable. I normally wear a 6 1/2 but I read the other reviews and ordered a seven and did not regret it.
