Warm and Cozy

Beautiful but runs small
It’s a beautiful coat but runs very small.
Not as warm as it looks...
This is my third SAM. jacket. I love the brand. One of the SAM. jackets I own is the warmest I've ever owned. I have Moncler, Canada Goose and the top brands for warm jackets. I am incredibly disappointed that this jacket is not as warm as it looks. Out of the 3 SAM. jackets I own this is one with the least feather fill. When my hands are in the pockets with gloves, I can the wind in on my hands. It's great in 30 degree weather, but anything below, you have to really layer up. You will not be sweating in this jacket. I thought because its so long it would be like wearing a nice warm blanket. It's a lightweight blanket. Also, it looks like a plastic and waterproof texture from the photos and its not. Its shiny but much more matte than the photos make it look. It has a nice hood that is adjustable so the wind doesn't blow it off, so that's great. However, the jacket is beautiful and I'm very happy with that. The jacket is a vibe. I'm definitely keeping it, but need to be on the lookout for something warmer and more waterproof.

fits tight around chest if you're top heavy as I am 40DDD and loose at the bottom, at 5"3 this coat is too long for me unless I was going to Alaska. The material is divinely soft warm and fluffy, sadly I am returning because my XL is too tight at the top. better for taller slim women

A Great Upgrade From Canada Goose
Was more than excited to find this jacket on sale. I’ve been on the watch for a new winter coat for a few winters now. My coworker has a Sam coat and speaks very highly of the brand so I wanted to try it out. It’s soo warm, stylish, and most importantly (to me) not stiff. I’ve had a Canada Goose for several years now and it was just a stiff and heavy weight. This is just as warm, if not warmer, and so much more stylish. Not to mention, it’s long. For a Chicago winter this is going to be my go to for many years to come!
