Ordered these shoes in a 9 and 8.5. Had to send both back as they were too large. Bought a different brand for better fit. This brand usually fits very consistently.

Too big gave me blisters

The shoe itself is very cute and versatile. You can dress it up or down, and it goes with just about anything. HOWEVER, the sizing is way off. I'm a 6.5 and I even measured my feet and used their sizing chart because I've had sizing issues with Sam Edelman in the past, and when I ordered the 6.5 loafer, my heels kept popping out every time I walked. I exchanged for a 6, and it's still a little loose. After walking around in them for about 15 minutes, they gave me the worst blisters on my heels.
