Disappointing Longevity of Ferragamo Belt Purchase

I am disappointed with the Ferragamo belt I purchased online. While I enjoyed using it for a period, I didn't expect failure in its construction. Recently, the pin that secured the buckle together unexpectedly broke during normal use, making it entirely unwearable. This is a considerable inconvenience given the investment associated with the Ferragamo brand. Customer support advised me to visit a Feragamo store to see if they would assist since my purchase exceeded the 90-day limit policy. His advice left me with the impression that I should only expect to use a Feragamo purchase from Bloomingdale's online for 90 days or less.
