Comfortable and cute!

I love these shoes, I would repurchase! Giving 4 stars because they were great for about 1-2 years before they started to get uncomfortable to wear due to the sole. To be fair, I would walk around 50k steps weekly and on concrete sometimes.

Comfort Issues

I purchased the XT-6 in the Paloma colorway for my 30th birthday, and while I really like the design and overall quality of the shoe, I have experienced a significant comfort issue with this particular pair. A friend of mine did me the favor to bring them in her recent trip to Honduras. Unfortunately, I was unable to return them because I live in Central america and returning the shoes was going to be more expensive than the actual sneakers. From the first few wears, I noticed persistent discomfort in my right foot, specifically on the inner side of the arch. It feels as if there is a section inside the shoe that is not properly finished or positioned, creating pressure and rubbing against my foot while walking. After nearly three weeks of regular use, the issue has not improved. I believe this may be a manufacturing defect affecting this specific pair. I have worn many different shoes over the years, including running shoes, lifestyle sneakers, and boots, and I have never experienced this type of discomfort in my right foot. For that reason, I do not believe the issue is related to my foot shape, but rather to this particular pair of XT-6s. Given Salomon's reputation and the premium price of the shoe, I expected a much more comfortable experience. Unfortunately, this issue has made the shoes difficult to enjoy, despite their great appearance and otherwise solid construction.
