Good but a bit expensive

Received a sample of this and got a few uses out of it. The texture of this SPF is quite runny so a little messy to apply from the sample packaging. Nonetheless, the product covers the skin easily and a small amount goes quite a long way. After initially applying this sunscreen, my skin was a little more shiny than I would like but this settled down quickly and was no different to my regular SPF after a while. It does have quite a strong scent. Overall, a good product that I would happily use, but a bit more expensive than I would like to pay.

Not for me

I got this as a sample with an order, and although I have a (much much cheaper) Ambre Solaire suncream I used every day, thought it would be fun to try a more luxe option. This really isn’t for me - the runny texture was a bit tricky to apply (granted might be easier with full size packaging), I didn’t like the scent, and although I definitely felt protected (during the heatwave, remember that?!) I got an immediate unpleasant sensation when I applied it - like I was suddenly sweating underneath it. That passed, but it was uncomfortable and not something I get with my cheap high street option!

Surprisingly good on Indian skin

I’m nervous about trying sunscreens as I worry about the pasty look and caking under makeup as an olive skinned chick in my 40s. I Gave it a go as I was given a tester (thank you spacenk!). Surprisingly good on Indian skin! Yet to try under makeup but I will get the full sized version and give it a go.

SPF

Had two of these as samples and now the sun is finally out I’ve been able to sample them! I am really trying to protect my face everyday - haven’t been great in the past! This product is runny and has the same look as a sunscreen, however a little goes a long way and it does rub into your skin well. Don’t use too much! Got quite a few wears out of a small sample so I presume the bottle would last. Good for sensitive skin and not greasy like sunscreen.

Silky Screen

This sample sachet of SPF50 drops, sent with an online order, has left me with a dilemma. It is gorgeously silken, smoothing the skin almost like a primer. I would like to test its coverage and efficacy further, as one application cannot prove a first impression. But I see there is also a version that includes anti pollution ingredients. Which will I choose?

Not for oily skin

Looking for some light weighted skin care with SPF protection for summer. Tried a sample of this RODIAL SPF 50 Drops, it is very liquid texture, easy to apply, but not for oily skin, the greasy feeling stays there and make me feel very uncomfortable.

Horrible

This is the worst sunscreen I've ever used. It feels like the cheapest supermarket product—very oily and unpleasant on the face. The worst part is that it stung my eyes so badly that I ended up crying and smudging my makeup. Given its price, I can't believe how bad it is. Save your money and try the Q A sunscreen instead, which costs £15 and is actually enjoyable to use.

Didn’t suit me

I was really expecting to like this - I thought from the description that it would be lightweight but I didn’t find that to be the case and it just sat quite stickily on my face. I found my skin ended up looking quite greasy even under makeup up. I did like that it was spf 50 and that there was no strong smell to it but I wouldn’t buy again and much prefer other products from other brands.
