Got to try this as it was in the Space NK beauty advent and it a nice edition to my make up bag. It isn’t too greasy and didn’t irritate my skin but as I’m very pale I don’t really need it as it just makes me look even more paler.always nice to try something new but somethings it’s just not what you need.

Like, not love.
I received a mini of the Rodial glass highlighter in the 2024 SpaceNK advent calendar. I really like the colour and enjoy the subtle glow it gives, however I do find it is a little thick and difficult to work with. It does not blend as well as I would like with other products. Lovely to try, but I am unlikely to purchase it in full size as there are other liquid highlighters that I prefer.

Subtle glow done right
I have a bit of a biased attitude toward Rodial — I’ve never bought anything from them and didn’t plan to. But I received a travel-sized highlighter in the advent calendar and decided to give it a try. To my surprise, it’s fantastic. A lightweight gel formula that gives a subtle, elegant glow — not glittery, just a lit-from-within effect. I rarely use highlighters, but this one is perfect for a soft, refined touch-up.

Doesn't play well with others
This has a lovely glow and subtle colour that isn't too dark for my pale skin, which many similar products are. However, the texture is very odd - it feels more like a lip gloss than a skin product and it causes anything else you use with it to separate so it can only be ised on bare skin. Even if you only use a tiny dab of concealer under your eyes you need to make sure you don't put it anywhere near where this highlighter goes or you'll end up with a streaky mess. Don't even think about trying to use it over foundation! If you wear absolutely no other make up this might work for you, otherwise give it a miss.

Subtle but buildable
This highlighter gives an amazing natural glow that sets off cheekbones beautifully. It’s subtle enough to wear everyday but if you wanted more impact from it then it’s so easy build up too, you could end up with a ‘see you from space highlighter’ if that’s what you’re going for. Blends easily and genuinely can’t fault it. If it came in another shade with different pigments I’d say it’d be near perfect

Subtle glow
I really like this product as it’s easy to apply and blends seamlessly into my skin. I apply this to the tops of my cheekbones and it provides a really subtle glow that makes my skin look really healthy. I love that you can build this product up depending on how much of a highlighting effect you want which makes it a really versatile product for both a glowy everyday look and a more glam nighttime look without being too much.

Pretty highlighter
I’ve been using the mini version from the advent calendar and it’s the perfect size to try the product for the first time. I use it on the high points of my face- cheekbones, nose, brow bone and in the corners of my eyes. It leaves a lovely subtle shimmer- it’s not too glittery and leaves a lovely glow. It has a nice texture, gel like which makes it easy to apply and blend.

Great Highlighter
I was searching through my makeup box the other evening and found this highlighter. Very small box which I had dismissed from an Advent Calendar. Tried it today. It’s so lovely. Goes on easily over makeup to give a perfect highlight to cheekbones and any area you wish to glow. I’ll shall be using it again as I think it’s a great highlighter.
