Way too long on me

I ordered my size which is 27 in R&B pants/jeans. They fit nicely in the waist, but the rest was too big and about 4 inches too long. I will definitely Need to have altered. Tried on with higher heel shoes and still too long. They are also thinner than any of my other Corduroys.
