Too small

I so wanted to love this since the brand has such a good reputation. But it was just too small. Other brands in the same size fit perfect.

WHAT IS THIS SIZING???

It is sold as a 36, 38, 40, or 42 with absolutely no guide as to what those sizes are in terms of regular sizes. Is that 8, 10, 12, 14, S, M, L??? Who knows, and they only size guide Gottex has on line does not use those numbers.
