too much fabric

Not a bad-looking dress, but the skirt comes down to my ankles (I am 5'3"--I know, I could have it hemmed) and the sleeves are extremely balloony, which made me feel I was being overwhelmed by the dress. The v neck would have to be fastened with a safety pin. Would probably suit a taller person and be a nice, festive outfit. The metallic stripes in the fabric are a little scratchy, but I'd put up with that if the dress fit better.
