Please bring back the former model
Like the recent reviews state, the newer model of this jacket lacks some qualities and features that previously made it so likable. While the new model is more water resistant and durable, it is not as soft and detailed as the former model. Improved durability is ostensibly a good thing, but in this case it comes at the expense of quality. This jacket, in my opinion, is not meant to function as a rain coat, especially since it does not have a hood. This new model attempts to give it this hybrid functionality. The suede inner padding and lining of the previous model made it the perfect fall coat, and the softer outer shell made it much easier to wear. I sincerely hope the Peter Millar design team takes these reviews into consideration when redesigning this jacket (or better yet, bringing back the old version). This is a shared sentiment among many of my friends. Additionally, if we wanted a stiffer, more durable version, we could just buy the Barbour quilted jacket. What we want is the stylish and high quality jacket this once was. Please restore that model. Thank you.

Decent but Downgrade
I had last year’s version and found it much softer on the inside with better design features. The newer version feels slightly more durable but much cheaper in terms of quality. I would be incredibly grateful if the previous version could be restored since I would like to repurchase another color of it.

Nice warm jacket
Nice jacket. Fits well and warm enough on a chilly evening. Light enough not to be too hot. Got the medium and fits perfect with a light long sleeve shirt. 6'1" 185 lbs.

Super happy
