Service review

This is not an item review but a review of the service I received. I have enjoyed other Palais des Thes teas, so I ordered this set to be delivered directly to someone. This item ships directly from the vendor. The item that was delivered to the recipient was the set of detox tea bags elsewhere on this website. It was delivered 'anonymously' without the gift note and thus it took some back and forth to figure out that what she had received was from me. After that, I called Bloomingdales to complain. They were apologetic and agreed to reorder a replacement. Without first informing me, they also sent a return shipping label for me to forward to my recipient asking her to mail back the item by a certain deadline or I would get charged twice. So now, I am in the extremely embarrassing situation, not to mention the headache of doing more back and forth and coordinating with my gift recipient to get the return done. Also, how and why am I responsible for the return of the gift when I am not the recipient? I think Bloomingdales should write off that 1st mistake and send the replacement alongwith an apology. I am sorry that I made the mistake of ordering from them. I definitely not happy with their policy and was not looking to add to my problems and the giftee's. Lesson learned.
