Sizing Way Too Inconsistent

Love Paige Anessa in general, but something is up with this color/style. Ordered my usual size and couldn't even button them (about a 3" gap). Ordered the next size up, and they were too big. Bloomingdales does not do exchanges, and so the problem is compounded if you bought the item on sale and hope to exchange.

ANESSA ANKLE WIDE LEG color BEBOP

I love this denim because of its softness and the super stretch material, I am curvy so it fits me very well defining the waist as it opens up the leg.

Super comfortable soft jeans with a perfect fit. I'm petite (5' 2") and have trouble finding jeans that are the right length. I wear a size 28, these jeans hit right below my ankle as if they were tailored to my body.
