We saw that using scratched bords were bad to use. We bought these and love them.

Too bouncy

Maybe it's the "feet," but the board is too bouncy. I tried smashing garlic cloves with the side of a knife, but the board isn't firm enough. I'll need to buy a different one that's firm/solid. This one will do for normal slicing I guess. (I think this is the first OXO product I'm disappointed with. )

Elite plastic cutting boards

Whenever I use any plastic cutting boards, I always compare them to Oxo. I am very picky with what I use and Oxo wins for me. For wood, I use one specific brand too. I have about 3'x3' total counter space total so these two are perfectly size, the smaller one is great for quick chop meals (one or two veggies immediately in the pot and a slab of meat) and quick clean up or the bigger one for more extensive meals where I need more room but not take up too much space.
