Way more effective than the disposable rollers I was using. I have also had this professionally done 3 times. This procedure is my holy grail and I actually feel bad for people who don't do it. I've seen a lot of improvements in my skin since first micro-needling including a more lifted and sculpted face, reduced post acne pit scars and sun caused brown spots. This particular product is awesome. Prepare yourself for a longer recovery though bc my first time I used lowest settings and was a red lobster for 24 hours. Therefore I'm only going to do this once a week where I was doing it 3 times a week w roller. I'm unsure if I should be cleaning product in between uses for there's no instructions to do so. Really easy to use. Highly recommend using vitamin c serum before and after self procedure. Good luck!

Wow this works great. At first the needles made me sick to my stomach but I tried not to look at them. It’s just as painful as a doctors visit.

Finally something great for olive skin colors
I have a darker shade of skin, I'm mexican so it is a med. olive shade. I have some dark spots from a previous laser treatment and from a burned glycolic peel. There isn't much out there for the darker shades of skin that don't have a pretty high posibility of darkening the skin in the process. I have used the dermapen on the darker spots of my face and so far it has lightened them. It does hurt because I put the needle at .25-.55, but I read an article that said they have only seen results from going a little deeper with the needle. My face does have some minor bleeding while using the pen, and gets red for about 3 days, but the red color is easily covered with some light concealer. Within 3 or 4 days my skin peels and the darkness that sometimes happens while healing, peels to a lighter shade. These are the best results I've had yet. I had a laser trtment and a series of glycolic peels, but none have given as good as results or as quick of results as this pen. Total thumbs UP

Too painful to use.
This is really painful to use. I tried it once and then could not bring myself to do it again. It is a waste if you are not going to be able to handle the pain like me.
