Oddly the soles were not waterproof

I bought a pair of these for my husband and myself for a trip abroad. They were great and needed no breaking in on my part. On of the areas had a lot of snow and after walking for a little bit I noticed my socks were wet. Not in the toes or sides, but on the bottom of my heels. Both of them. I was definitely not expecting my intact soles to allow melted snow to seep through. It was really weird and embarrassing when I had to take my shoes off inside of places. My husband had no issues at all with his shoes letting water in. Still comfortable to walk in, just apparently the sole may or may not be sealed.

You can walk for miles in these!

These sneakers are super comfortable and lighter than other brands I tried on. I bought them for a trip to Rome. I wore them with pants and dresses and my feet felt fine even after I hit the 10 mile a day mark!
