Not great

I heard so many great things about this Olaplex bonding hair oil but for £28 it is quite a letdown. it smells nice but nothing amazing, I’ve tried drugstore hair oils that have a nicer fragrance. I don’t like the texture of this oil. It’s a bit hard to explain but when I use it in my hair, it feels kind of stiff? It obviously adds a shine to your hair, but I expected it to leave my hair soft as well, but that was not the case. I will be sticking to my drugstore hair oils

Totally amazing hair oil! Absolutely love using this when my hair is wet alongside olaplex’s other products. My hair looks shinny and overall healthy in appearance. After long term use, after 6 months I find that breakage is significantly reduced. Really happy with this product and will buy again and again.

Great hair oil

This is my daily go to for hair oil. It only loses a star because of the price point for size of the bottle and I do think there are similar more affordable options which only perform very slightly lesser. This works on wet or dry hair and leaves it feeling silky. I have wavy/curly hair and it’s very textured and gets knotted easily but when I apply this straight after washing it stops that from happening. I wouldn’t say I’ve seen much improvement in the bonding side of things but as an oil it works amazingly

I really enjoy this

I love the smell of this. Often I think oil for the hair can make it greasy but this is nourishing. You only really need a small amount and I actually start from the tip and work towards the sculp direction (another point of minimising greasy hair). I normally am not a fan of sweet smell but I think the smell is pretty and not overpowering.

Great product

I use this after styling to smooth my hair, it adds a lovely sheen and protects too. I purchased in the sale, but would buy again. That said, the small bottle will last a while as you only need a few drops. Olaplex make great hair products and are highly recommended.
