too small and too weird

Bought these online and picked up at the New Balance store. They are NOT true to size by at least a half size. They are also felt stiff and little to no cushion. After I sized up to the 9.5, they fit but I couldn’t get over how weird they looked. The design has these chunky parts that are odd and are really noticeable when you look down. I knew it would bother me so I canceled the pick up. If you prefer a traditional sneaker, these are not for you.
