Good Quality
I have had some Milagro towels for a few months. I was worried as some reviewers said the stitching came undone and the color faded in areas soon after purchase. Neither has happened. They are very soft and lightweight; I prefer a lighter weight towel as they dry more quickly (less time in the dryer, quicker to dry in winter).

Different Colors
I ordered 2 hand towels at the same time. They shipped together but were 2 completely different shades of gray. Obviously I know different lots may produce different colors but when they are ordered and shipped together, you would think that you would make sure they are from the same lot and same color. This is lazy in my opinion.

quality control
I received the towel today and it does not look like the picture. Moreover, the label was not on the towel and the towel was frayed. It reeks of a detergent fragrance. It honestly looks like Bloomingdales sent me a previously used towel. I am going to return immediately.

Poor quality defective dye poor customer service
I was so excited to upgrade my towels from Restoration Hardware and loved these towels at first, but am very disappointed with the quality. I purchased 3 sets of the Dune color and within 6 months the color dye leaked to this awful orange-y baby poo color. The loftiness of the towels completely went away and they are very coarse to the touch now. After owning for about 2 years, the difference between the new ones and mine are astounding for the money spent on a luxury product. Matouk customer service would not honor even though the dye in my opinion was defective. They claimed it isn't under warranty, but no warranty is listed on their website, so they basically just didn't honor their product and didn't want to help me. They offered a 15% discount on new towels which was a slap in the face, you can get a larger discount through friends and family events. Not only would I not purchase Matouk's towels, I wouldn't purchase anything from their company.

Not colorfast! Definitely wash before use BUT...
Matouk directs that these towels be washed before use. Unfortunately, one of the eight towels in my order was not colorfast. It faded to mottled brown from charcoal with one washing. Bloomingdales refused my attempted return of the item because it was "not defective." Believe me - any textile that will release die onto you or your laundry is defective. The problem seems to be that I followed directions (and common sense) by washing these before using them. We considered ordering a replacement from a more honest source so that we could have three pairs of towels that match in our master bath. Seems risky at best as this is a manufacturing defect (sorry Bloomies but not being colorfast is a defect). At least I know which towel to watch for more die release. Will be washing these as a set alone for several weeks (may try to set the die myself with Retayne).

Touch of Luxury
We purchased a Matouk bath and matching hand towel (in navy) when we shopped at the store during a recent visit. After using them when we got home, we liked the towels so much, we ordered more on-line (dark gray). Beautiful colors, luxurious feel, absorb moisture and dry quickly after bathing…perfect for our bathrooms.

What a shame
Matouk produced a quality product at one time but I’m disappointed in their towels. This towel set is only for use by overnight company and it’s only been used and washed once. The hand towels are already fraying inside of the seam.
