At 23, New York City-born Marc Jacobs became the youngest designer to receive CFDA's Perry Ellis Award for New Fashion Talent. The designer opened his first store in 1997 while simultaneously acting as the artistic director for Louis Vuitton. The bag was awesome packaging not so much
This was a Christmas present for my daughter; the bag was awesome. However, Bloomingdale's (again) dropped the ball on the packaging. It was not factory wrapped for starters, just in tissue paper. I glanced at it and wrapped it up for Christmas. When my daughter opened it, there were spots all over it like mold or something. We had to wash the bag before it could be used and that was most disappointing for a "new" bag with tags. I'm now in the growing number of shoppers complaining about Bloomingdale's packaging for shipping. But back to the bag itself- it is great, the perfect size for college student to tote her things around and it will hold her iPad as well. A great size for everyday use. I would recommend this tote but maybe directly from Marc Jacobs or another retailer unless you go into the store to purchase. Not shipped!

Great travel & work bag!
I was looking for a more trendy work & travel bag that could not only fit my typical purse items (wallet, cosmetics, phone, etc) but also fit my 14” laptop and this was perfect. I debated between the canvas and leather, but determined the leather was too heavy (even empty) for travel. The canvas bag is light and can be worn crossbody and fit everything. The crossbody strap is thick (but not too thick) so it’s comfortable even when the bag is a bit heavy. I’m glad I finally made the plunge after many months of debate!
