  • About The Fragrance

    Vallée de Farney is a nature preserve located in the native forests of the Mauritius Island. The forest is home to more than 100 plant species and numerous animals where Louis Marie discovered many new plant specimens. Inspired by the wild forest, this scent is a woody, mineral fragrance. The top note is a citrus accord of grapefruit, orange and black pepper enhanced by cedarwood and patchouli.

  • How To Use It

    Light your candle 2 hours the first time, so you will get an even burn. To preserve the fragrance, do not burn your candle for more than 3 hours at a time. Before each burn, trim the wick to less than 1/4", so you will avoid any black smoke and residue on the glass.

Not what I had hoped for at all

I was so excited to get this candle. It’s a shame it’s not anything what I’d hoped for. It wasn’t unique, I didn’t smell anything other than what seemed like weak disinfectant. I think I should have asked for help before paying this much. At least it’s a weak throw, I can’t stand the smell on my hands. Really bummed out about it.

Maison Louie Marie No. 09 Candle

The Maison Louie Marie No. 09 candle is very soothing. It brings peace into my personal room. The candle wick does smell bad when you blow out the candle. But the company did offer me a wick cutter to prevent that. So I will consider it next time. I also bought the No. 09 incense, and seem to love it way more than the candle. In fact, I leave the incense in my car overnight to have that amazing soothing smell for myself. It makes me feel unbothered by traffic. I feel calm. The company should look into vehicle air fresheners. I look forward to going on a date one day with a signature smell in my car.
