Anxiety over delivery date

When ordering this product I was initially told it would arrive by mother's day. One day later I was told it was delayed & wouldn't get here until the day after mother's day. First of all, why wasn't the product sent from Bloomingdale's near me? If I knew where it was coming from I would have driven over to the store near me to buy it in person. It did arrive it time but I was not happy over the stress it caused me. Also, I can't help but wonder if this bottle of body lotion came in a box, because the one I got, did not
