    Violet

    Despite its readily identifiable and popular perfume, the violet is a mute flower, as it is impossible to extract its perfume naturally. Only the leaves and stems can be used for extraction. The green scent of spicy cucumber they exude is antithesis to the flower's scent. To reproduce the fruity, gourmand and slightly woody fragrance of its petals, Francis Kurkdjian uses odorous molecules called Ionones (ionos means purple in Greek), discovered and made available to perfumers at the end of the 19th century. In feminine perfumery, the violet lends a powdery facet or a gustatory sensation that blends beautifully with rosy notes. Its green facet is widely used in men's fragrances.

Rich & Lavish Perfume

I had always bought designer fragrances, but they always smelled the same after a period of time. So I started switching to niche fragrances and this was my first one. I am so happy I made this purchase. This smells amazing, it’s not like any of the fragrances that I got in the past it’s unique, it’s a confidence booster definitely worth the money.

A Bust Buy

I love the smell of this cologne, which is why this is my this purchase but the packaging and handling of this specific buy was a disaster. The top came disassembled and won’t spray so I can’t even use a product that I spent a decent amount for. Not satisfied with this buy at all

Beautiful Dry Down

Smell is very strong upon the 1st sprays, but let me tell you, when it dries down the scent is phenomenal! only need about 3-4 sprays and it'll last all day

Like Father, like Son - MFK OUD!

MFK OUD is an excellent fragrance! I was a bit weary of the scent as my father wears the same exact fragrance, but my advisor from Bloomingdales, Lale, brought me to the “light” and convinced me thoroughly that the scent was perfect for me. She was absolutely correct!
