Love the fragrance but was treated poorly in store
The perfume is great but the guy at the counter name Zee i believe was horrible. I first went to the Costs Mesa location a few weeks back to check out the MFK fragrances since I wanted to add to my collection and this same sales person was there, he did not greet me and just stood there watching me which made me feel uncomfortable so I walked away and found Missy to help me and she was nice. I returned back this past Saturday to purchase 2 MFK fragrances that I wanted to add to my collection so Missy took me to the counter and the same guy was there finishing up a sale. He gave the person a mini candle, small box with 2 travel Baccarat 540 fragrances, and another item so I asked Missy if they can give me any nice gifts since i was purchasing 2 fragrances that were pricey. She asked him and he refused right in front of me. She told him I purchased a couple of fragrances prior and he said well you should have given her something before or something along those lines and proceeded to absolutely refuse to give any gifts which made no sense to me. He made me feel very uncomfortable and made me feel as if i wasnt good enough to be there or purchase the fragrances and this disgusted me. He stood at the other end of the counter and spoke to his other associates in an asian dialect and never bothered to explain why he refused to give me any gifts and never bothered to apologize for his actions. I wanted to walk away and not purchase but Missy said she was sorry and didnt want to make a scence since she did not want me to notice his behavior, but i was watching him the whole time since he acted like a fool in front of me. I am disappointed to see that I was treated this way and feel that Blooingdales should be thankful to have loyal clients that come into the store and purchase from them. This mans behaviors was extremely unprofessional and he should be reprimanded for the way he treated me. I may think twice about driving over an hour to visit this store in the future because the way i was treated is unacceptable. He was also snarky with the associate and did not want to help her find the fragrance in his cabinets. I was told the department manager would reach out to me and have yet to hear back also.
