    Baccarat Rouge 540 is a universal, luminous and intense fragrance with woody ambery floral notes, a truly graphic olfactory signature condensed to the extreme. This extrait de parfum intensifies the power and radiance of the eau de parfum's three 'auras'.

    The top notes of Grandiflorum jasmine flowers delicately underscore the aura of air. The sensual fire aura conveyed by ethyl maltol, a note with gourmand facets, is enhanced by the subtle notes of bitter almond. Lastly, the mineral aura built around an ambergris accord softens with a woody ambery musky accord.

    Adding to the intensity of the extrait, the bottle plays with light. Its aesthetic dons a brilliant red robe reminiscent of Baccarat red.

Great scent for women without flowery smell

My wife normally wears flowery “feminine” scents that I actually don’t care for; however she’s now on her second bottle of this and I couldn’t endorse anymore-it’s great! Could be unisex but I think it’s a great scent for woman. It’s different and not overpowering.

Classic 540. But, compared to my previous 540, this extrait apparently does not last long. Longest perhaps is 2-3 hours.

No scent at all

Tried in store and lasted all day. So I spent 500 to buy. No scent. At all. None. Went back to store to exchange. Same thing. A whiff of scent after spraying half the bottle, which immediately disappears. Both bottles bought in store (not via mail/delivery). Both bad. Not even worth 10 dollars, let alone 500. Not sure if Kurkdjian or Bloomingdale’s are to be blamed for this, but this is fraud and a robbery. It’s shocking actually.

Very disappointed

I’ve been using bacarrat parfum for over 1 year I just bought my third bottle of bacarrat parfum red bottle and I’m disappointed to say that I spray myself and the smell is gone work in 30 min will not be buying it from Bloomindale’s ever again will be going to neimun Marcus hopefully they will give me what I’m paying for and that is for the smell to last a couple of hours
