    Baccarat Rouge 540 is a universal, luminous and intense fragrance with woody ambery floral notes, a one-of-a-kind condensed olfactory signature with a long-lasting sillage.

    Inspired by the 250th anniversary of Baccarat, Francis Kurkdjian wanted to convey the poetic alchemy of crystal-making in this woody ambery floral fragrance, imagining a unique creation based on 3 'auras'.

    In the top notes, the breezy facets of jasmine flowers and the radiance of saffron evoke the aura of air. They are highlighted by an accord evoking ambergris and dry woody tones, embodying the mineral aura. Lastly, the aura of fire is suggested by the addictive sensuality of ethyl maltol, a note with gourmand facets.

Disappointed in the weak scent

I’m not sure I’m going to keep the perfume. 6 months ago when I would spray the tester in the store on myself it was very rich and strong smelling. Then recently when I went in the store it smelled watered down. I noticed many reviews said the same thing. When I asked the customer service rep on the phone about this he said he does see those reviews but that there are so many more great reviews. I saw the same thing but iI was concerned about buying it. He assured me that if I didn’t like the smell or it was weak smelling then I can return it. I’m just so bummed. I wanted this for so long and got 2 gift cards so I ordered it and I agree with the negative reviews. It doesn’t have much of a scent. It’s weak or watered down smelling. Something changed with this perfume. I will decide in the next couple of days what to do. The bottle is beautiful but the scent is not the same 😞

Bacarrat Changed Their Formula

I purchased this perfume here instead of Baccarat like I normally do in hopes it would smell like it originally did. The last 3 bottles I’ve purchased have all fallen wayyyyy short of what the perfume once was. I’m extremely disappointed in Bacarrat. This review has nothing to do with Bloomingdale’s whatsoever!!

Waste of money. Thank you, media, for nothing

I purchased this becaseu of all the rave about the scent. I don't know what they're talking about; the smell is average and lasts for about 10 minutes. I had to apply a different perfume to achieve a noticeable scent. Waste of money. Thank you, media, for my impulse buy.

Truly recommend!

What a beautiful fragrance! It’s airy, slightly sweet. When you think it’s gone it just show up again telling you that it’s stay power is there. Nice scent trail you leave behind.
