    Baccarat Rouge 540 is a universal, luminous and intense fragrance with woody ambery floral notes, a one-of-a-kind condensed olfactory signature with a long-lasting sillage.

    Inspired by the 250th anniversary of Baccarat, Francis Kurkdjian wanted to convey the poetic alchemy of crystal-making in this woody ambery floral fragrance, imagining a unique creation based on 3 'auras'.

    In the top notes, the breezy facets of jasmine flowers and the radiance of saffron evoke the aura of air. They are highlighted by an accord evoking ambergris and dry woody tones, embodying the mineral aura. Lastly, the aura of fire is suggested by the addictive sensuality of ethyl maltol, a note with gourmand facets.

The best perfume I have ever owned!

I’ve been wearing baccarat for the last five years. So many scents have trended since I first started wearing it but none hits quite like this one. I get compliments on it everywhere I go. I’ve been in crowded bars and someone will tap me and ask what I’m wearing because it stands out and is intoxicating. It’s not overpowering. It’s just enough to make you stop and say, “Wow! That’s nice.” One of my cousins hugs me just so she can smell like me after. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and elegant

I bought this perfume for my wife after smelling it in the store. I was immediately captivated by the sweet scent and knew I had to have it. While it is a more expensive perfume, I believe it is thoroughly justified. This perfume is potent and pleasurable to smell, there is literally nothing offensive about it at all. So disappointing… smells so great but has absolutely NO strength or lasting power at all. Disappears within seconds. With other high end perfumes, one spray lasts the entirety of the day. Not the case with this one.
