  • How To Use It

    Application:
    - Create a smooth canvas for color with Prep + Prime Lip (sold separately).
    - Apply lipstick directly to lips.
    - Pro Tip: Define lips with Lip Pencil (sold separately) or layer on Lipglass (sold separately) for a high-shine finish.
    - Pro Tip: Dab lipstick on cheeks for a monochomatic pop of color.
    - Pro Tip: Apply to the center of lips and blend out using a 318S Brush (sold separately) to create a blurred effect.

    Removal:
    - Dispense one to two pumps of Hyper Real Fresh Canvas Cleansing Oil (sold separately) into the palm of your hand and gently massage onto lips.
    - Emulsify with warm water, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry.

Blankety is a soft beige pink that compliments my skin. The sleek satin lipstick with full-coverage, pigment-rich colour in a comfortable formula that hydrates lips for eight hours.

MY FAVORITE LIPSTICK

I didn't realise I ordered satin I was after matte and this lipstick is still a beautiful matte. Zero shine. Zero crust, and only a thin layer needed. Wow that color! Pale skin friendly! The most beautiful vampire vibes. Nothing else compares. I have Dior which was way more expensive, their velvet lipstick always flakes and never gave the color I wanted but with this Mac lipstick one swipe and I'm ready! I don't even need lip liner. And yes it's blendable if you wanted to combine two matte MAC lipsticks. 100000/10 I LOVE Dubonnet

Sleek Satin Version of Modesty is a Disappointment

I have worn Modesty in the Cremesheen formula for years and LOVED it. I purchased two tubes of the new Sleek Satin formula in Modesty for when my last tube of Cremesheen ran out. I am so disappointed to find that the Sleek Satin version of Modesty is a very different color and no longer has the lovely sheer finish of the Cremesheen. The Cremesheen formula was a warm pink nude while the Sleek Satin formula is more intense and has a lot of brown or gray. It is very unflattering on me but is past the date when I can return it to Ulta.
