Not true yo size

This item says true tonsize but when I got the dress and tried them on(ordeed 2 diff sizes, 4 & 6) noemof it fits me. I wear a size 4 but I thought to also get the next size up, unfortunately, sise 6 didnt fit me as well. The dress is beautiful and the color is what I was looking for but size didnt agree.
