Strange odor

I received these jeans by mail & opened the package. It has a very strong musty odor. Directions say to wash before wearing, so I did & they still smell. I will order another pair and see if they are ok. I did purchase them in white in the store & they are perfect. They tend to stretch, so order your normal size.
